i noticed a charge for $29.99 on my Mastercard that i didn’t recognize, from a “VIP Tune Limassol CYP.” I googled and looks like i’m not the only one that got hit. Sigh. I cancelled my card and a new one is on the way.

Not sure how my number got hit, but the perpetrators need to die in a fire.

UPDATE 8/15/2007: Interestingly enough, the comment thread here seems to indicate a connection with purchases @ Smarthome.com. Not sure if it’s just pure speculation or not.

i found this old image on my computer tonight and it gave me a good laugh. If you’ve ever played any type of online FPS (first person shooter), you’ll understand the humor.

I use the underscore filter to apply CSS styles to only IE browsers, but with the advent of IE7, that no longer works. Fun Fun. Thankfully with the help of the centricle CSS filters chart, I discovered a new asterisk hack that works for IE7-IE5. It doesn’t work on IE5/Mac, which the underscore hack did, but i’m not really caring to support that browser anymore. Die IE5/Mac, die.

Unfortunately, I needed to use the asterisk hack for a Facebook app I am working on, but their parser doesn’t allow the asterisk hack and filters it out. Ug.
